I didn't see the following on your 1911 calendar of events. I thought you might like to check it out.

Thought you might appreciate seeing this old photo.
I've read of this but never saw the photo before.
Makes you wonder just HOW COLD and
HOW LONG it was that cold!! brrr

I love your site as I am working on a scrapbook for my school years and reunions.
Consider that we just had our 45th reunion and you will understand the task at hand.
Your site has been so wonderful for finding things that happened each of the 12 years.
Am only going to pick decade items after 1959.
Now if I could only find a similar site with pictures that I could print of
cars, toys, fashions, etc. of each year it would be wonderful.
Again, Thank you very much.

i've looked at your websight many times over the last several years
- mostly visiting the history section (which is grrreat!).
and mostly when i've gotten the urge to seek the deeper side
of life (and in that area, by george... i think i've struck gold

Lately i've investigated other links found on your page,

I just happened upon your site today and I think it is great! You have info
here that I have never seen anywhere else. And while I haven't had a lot
of time to look at everything, I will return - and I promise I will spread
the word!
(One suggestion, however, would be to arrange the information on the yearly
events pages by date rather than first name. I realize that may take some
doing, but it would be easier to search within a year. But, hey, it's a
very tiny point.)
Anyway, keep up the good work!

I stumbled onto your website by accident.... (ask.com). I
have my own business and one of the things I do is for newborns. I take
all the personal data ( time of arrival, size, etc.) and what happened the
day that they were born and add graphics, mat and frame it. Thing is, parents
have been wanting them for gifts for friends and family. With your web site,
it cuts down on my trips to the library going through their archives....

Hi,
I saw your history website and thought it was fabulous.
You've really done an amazing job. Also, I thought I'd point out a tiny error.
As biographer of TV Superman George Reeves, I can vouch for the fact that he
was born on Jan. 5, 1914, not Apr. 6. George's mother lied to him about
his birthdate for many years, since the actual date was a little shy of
nine months after the wedding, if you get my drift. It's not a big deal,
but you seem to have gone very far in the quest for detail and accuracy,
and I thought you'd like to know this.
Congratulations on a great job.

I spend all my "spare time" finding info for my Web page, instead of

perused your excellent (indeed, a model in some ways) page as much as I

In addition to the note in my Links section, I have many links to your
Years in history section. Notwithstanding some misprints (the bane of
Web pages), this is the most impressive list I have seen anywhere, on
the Internet or in books.
I just discovered your Dates in history links. I will have to read and
use this one, also! I have not seen anything at all comparable in this
vein, either.
By the way, I am a Human Resources director myself.

While searching for something else, I was amazed to find an event listed on your

The entry for April 5, 1970 -- as WSNS-TV, Channel 44 Chicago, makes its debut.

Also, there is a holiday which often falls on Feb 9 in Tampa, Florida

I'd would be interested in seeing lots more saints' feast days posted

By the awesome nature of the information presented,
also by the fact that nobody shares my birth date and
nobody of any real significance shares my birth day/month.
I shall return !

Cool Site!
I stumbled across it by accident while looking for some information on
Louise Brown, the first test tube baby, b. 7/25/78
That was documented in your dates in history page for July 25. I then
thought this is really neat, so I went back and found your home page.
Started exploring it, and got so involved in it, I forgot what I had
originally logged on to research.
I'll probably be back often!

Dear MGDUNCAN:
Great great GREAT site!
I found it by accident when I was looking up "millilitres to ounces"
conversions on Infoseek. Only two sites came up, and the other one was a
dead-end ad for a book.
I backed up to send you a thankful email, and I found mgdsite!
Nice work!
Cheers,
Tony

MG, your birthday lists are staggering, much bigger than I've seen
elsewhere. You must spend all your days compiling this stuff. Good on
you!!
As for the closing thoughts on your home page, they remind me of a
bumper sticker I saw years ago and always liked: ESCHEW OBFUSCATION.

Tu página me parece muy interesante. Más lo sería si en cada
acontecimiento histórico habría un link para ampliar la información.
Suerte!!!!!
